Etzanoa Incense – 1.0oz

Description

Etzanoa is made from the female tips and blue berries of the Virginia Juniper (Eastern Red Cedar) that are dried and ground up to be easily burnt on charcoals. The scent is very woody earthy and of course cedar smelling and has been used traditionally by many tribes of Native Americans. The name Etzanoa comes from the lost Native American city that was recently rediscovered where Innercense is located. We thought it would be fitting to include this traditional scent named after our very own lost Native American city.

Uses: purification, cleansing the area

Storing: Store in an air tight container in a cool dry place.

Description: Known as the “Tree of Life” by Native Americans, the Eastern red cedar is regarded as a holy tree, it has often been burned in purification rituals and sweat lodges. When burned, cedar acts as a purifier, to cleanse an area.

Packaging: We package our products minimally to help preserve the planet, and highly encourage you to recycle the materials of the package when you have finished using the product. We use re-sealable bags to keep the aroma fresh.

Manufacturing & Sustainability: Our Innercense Resins are derived naturally from trees, and are harvested by hand. The same methods used for thousands of years to harvest the resins are still used today. The trees are not destroyed in the process and they are only harvested during certain times of the year.

Ingredients: All Natural Eastern red cedar, Juniperus virginiana, sugar (for smoke throw).

How to use: Light a charcoal tablet until it begins to spark. Place it in your incense burner, or fireproof dish and let it ignite all the way through. This can take up to two minutes. Place a 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Etzanoa incense on top of the charcoal. Keep away from flammable materials, children and pets. Soak with water after use to ensure the coal is out.
